Ostuni, “the White City” (La citta’ bianca) which is known for it’s whitewashed old town, is located at only 14 km from the property. Restaurants
In all of Puglia the food is amazing. Puglia is very well known for its Olive Oil, Panzerotti (fried pizza), tarallucci (local bread), frise and many more. There are very good restaurants all around but I would personally recommend:
The Aqua-In water park
The Aqua-in water park is one of the first water parks built in Puglia. Over the years it has specialised in welcoming families with children and groups of friends, guaranteeing them a carefree, fun and alternative day out. The AQUA-IN water park includes a swimming pool for adults, a lagoon for children, a hydromassage tub, an invigorating mushroom, a series of geysers and several exhilarating slides, a solarium and areas equipped for relaxation and picnics. Their entertainment staff will brighten your day with various activities including Latin American and group dance lessons and water aerobics. Inside the park there is a well-equipped games-billiard room and an area intended as a playground for children.
Grotta di Castellana
The Grotta di Castellana, Italy's longest natural subterranean network of limestone caves, is over 3 km long and contains stalagmites and stalactites, other crystal formations and a fascinating variety of dripstones. There are guided tours of the caverns throughout the year. This is well worth a visit and could be combined with a visit to the nearby Astronomical Observatory.
Zoo Safari Park
For a family day out with young children, the Zoo Safari Park in Fasano is ideal. There is a drive through area where the animals are free to roam in an environment that has been designed with the original habitat of each species in mind. Once through the safari area you can park the car and take a ride in the panoramic train and watch the brown bears, polar bears, seals, hippos and rhinos, stroll through the monkey village, watch the dolphin show, etc. When you tire of watching animals there is a fairground with rides that most age groups will enjoy.
In addition to the animals there is also a 3D cinema, puppet and fairground; something for all the family to enjoy.
Indiana Adventure Park
Catering for all age groups and levels the, Indiana Adventure Park allows you to test your stamina and agility following a series of treetop trails in a forest of trees just outside Castellana. All safety equipment is supplied such as helmets, harnesses, etc.
The park is open from March to November and each ticket allows you a maximum of 2.5 hours in the park.
